Included are brief biographies of Dundas's Scottish ancestors, Robert Dundas (1685-1753), 3rd Lord Arniston, and Robert Dundas (b. 1713), 4th Lord Arniston. Also included are reminiscences (21 p.) of Dundas's own experiences as a blockade runner, ordnance officer, and prisoner at Old Capitol Prison in Washington and Camp Norton near Indianapolis, Ind.
